Do you know how people get stunned? I know. Do you know how people lost their sense of direction or where they are because they couldn't understand why yet they know what's actually happening is really happening? I know.

It SOOO SURREAL!! He proposed. Clement Lim, my partner in crime has finally put on the handcuffs on me to his heart. Along went my heart too... =)

Plans. He planned. He organized. He plotted. He cahoot. He skyped. He white-lied. He kept me in the dark on this surprise for 2 weeks (& more). I was told that Anissa, his boss had 4 tickets for Skywalk @ the Sydney Tower - the tallest building in Sydney, for $20 instead of usual $65. I wasn't much interested but he insisted to do "something exciting" for this Easter break.

Cahoot. He arranged with his sister-Letz, & my girl friend-Chewy, to go along on this. He asked me to invite Chewy cause none of his sister's friend could make it. Even initiated to contact Chewy for me, I should have picked that up as a point of suspicion. Well... Then organise a whole big story of email just to play along with me.

Saturday 03 April 2010 came, morning had inspection & saw the place that ticked our boxes. Just the price & non-title brand new single-storey villa @ North Rocks. Oooo... caught our hearts. Prepared ourselves for the week to re-open to roll out our plans to purchase. As evening approach, we met up with Chewy and went to meet Letz @ Sydney Tower itself as she was 'early'. Clement went to get the 'cheap' tickets and Chewy enthusiastically pulled me to go take photos. We proceeded up the tower... very very high, vacc'ing our ears. Lifts open, Cathy our later Skywalk guide welcomed us. Only us, cause we are 'special' you see, i didn't know that yet... We were asked to sign the consent form & instructed to go visit the ladies. Should have picked that one up as point of suspicion too. Well... That point something behind the scene happened too. 6pm, we gathered and suited up; Clem gave the idea to be the last ones to go on the walk so that can take more photos. So ok, not knowing THAT was also part of the Plan!! Even going through the metal-detector was a scam too!! so they can 'beep' him to escort him back to attach the ring onto him. (Wow! they are quite good actors really. I was busy lookin @ myself in the mirror on how i look in that blue/yellow safety coverall).

Up we go on the climb till it's our turn to take our group shots, single & double-shots. Then our turn. They took the normal shots first. Then I say let's do funny shots!! Clement said no. My face went blank half-a-second.

All I could recall was words like... "remember the next time.. flowers?" (in ref: to my previous post on Wednesday, March 03, 2010 at 7:05 PM) So i thought he wanted to pretend to do the proposal pose for the camera, so i said 'noo... no..'

He continued "..99months together.. ask you the question.

I " are you kidding me? are you serious? " my face is fixated in the shocked open-jawed look and my hands are clasped on to my chest to stop my heart from pounced out & also to HOLD ON to something.

I looked at him! He had that smug cheeky look that shouts "Question-time! This-is-it! This-is-for-Real! I'm-going-to-ask-you-now!" Incredible!

Looked around... then I realised he was ready to go down on 1-knee & pulling out from his sleeve like a magician. I saw the black rubber-band around his wrist slowly a silver colour ring set sparkled a purple side-gem came into view... Formally, he proposed "Will you marry me?"

My tears were already welling up & I'm not sure but I think I was trembling. Then I saw the Pear-Shaped!! I went berserk. I want to hold it, stretched my hand to touch it.. He took it away and asked again "You going to say Yes?" I wiped my tears and took a deep breath, then nodded my head. "Say yes first??" he responded with a cheeky grin.

"Yes.. I will." He then took my left hand and slipped the ring on my 4th-finger, then off (cos with pear-shaped there a pointing side & the rounded side, he wanted it particularly correct), so it went back on again correct this time. Whichever way it was put on, I just crushed into his hug.

Morris, another staff from the skywalk came with the flowers. They were beautiful! Orange & White roses with pink freesias and lilac & white carnations and etc. I loved them. Topped it off.

Everything else after that was like a whirl. No idea what the guide was saying now, many-a-times Clement & I were left lagging behind the group. And the tears just kept flowing...

After the walk ended, I was able to recollect myself. Then I was presented the card Clement "made". Cover was a typical I LOVE YOU card. But all with neo-print size photos of us. and I thought that was sweet enough. Inside was DIABETIC!! I broke down hard!! Like it was not tears flowing, this time was real crying for joy. Clement, you wrote rhymes of what I, we meant together and scattered with meaningful photos all I could identify with. I couldn't even READ the words.. He read it out for me. I broke down again... -Awww!! I know, Weak!-

But it was sooo wonderful. Felt a dream!! Like I'm not sure if it all really happened. Did it?? The smile was plastered on my face though.

We then went for dinner and home. This is a long entry... Might add-on as I go along tomorrow...
