Flowers - As much as many other sensible girls/ladies out there who told their men that flowers are really a waste of money as they wouldn't last. I once said I preferred Articifial Flowers, lasts longer.

When you reach a certain age, you realise... Sometimes it's that momentary life-presence which explodes in colour & fragrance that you hold in your arms like a newborn baby is in-fact a Bouquet of Flowers. I realised I do like Flowers. I do like to receive flowers, even though they don't last.

24th February is a special day for me. Years before, we seldom 'celebrate' it. This time, I decided to send my Mum a potted Orchid Plant - Single White Orchid Phalaenopsis, from Aussie to Singapore.

Firstly, it was hard to find a store that does the delivery as it's still within the CNY period. Majority only re-open their business on 26th Feb. Then I found "Blossom Cellar @ Suntec, a friendly service of aunties to organise the delivery for me.

Hiccups. Hiccup01: Timing changed - They decided to go Turf Club for birthday Lunch instead of Dinner. Bros were told to be awake by 11am (i was thinkin' that wouldn't really happen tho) ; Hiccup02: I missed the date totally until I was @ work checking the date on the phone 24TH FEBRUARY!! Sheeshz, called BlossomsCellar to confirm the delivery, they can only promise by mid-day.

**Send all the ER sms to the men @ home, to take note of the new timing. None replied me until the door bell rang with my mum receiving the Flowers on her own** =)

She was soo happy. I felt soo Happy as well. All I can remember she said was "很美! Baby, it's really 很美! 很美! 很美! 很美! i really like it!" and then she almost cried... Almost made me tear. Nothing in this world, but to make my Mum happy like this.
